Turkey tail is one of the most widely studied medicinal mushrooms in the world, valued for its polysaccharide content. Together they are traditionally used to support immune function, restful sleep, and the body's capacity to adapt to stress.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe Process: Spagyric comes from the Greek \u003cem\u003espao\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eageiro\u003c\/em\u003e — to separate and to recombine. The mushrooms are macerated in alcohol for four to six weeks, drawing out the volatile essence. The remaining matter is then simmered in filtered spring water. Finally, what is left is calcined — burned to a fine ash and purified over repeated firings until the mineral salts are freed from the plant body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThose three parts — tincture, tea, and ash — are recombined and left to extract for two to three weeks more. Nothing is discarded. What most extractions throw away, this one puts back.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIt is slow, and it does not scale. That is the point.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHow to Take It: One to two dropperfuls daily, under the tongue or in water.
