Vitamin C-1000

A highly purified ascorbic acid from a non-corn source, comparable to reagent grade — formulated for people whose food sensitivities rule out ordinary vitamin C. What most people react to is not the ascorbate itself but the corn residue carried along with it.

Vitamin C supports normal immune function, collagen synthesis — which is to say skin, tendon, cartilage, and the walls of blood vessels — and antioxidant defense against oxidative stress. It also improves the absorption of non-heme iron, and it is one of the few nutrients humans cannot synthesize and must obtain daily.
