The saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a low, sprawling palm of the Florida coastal plain, and its dark berries were a staple food of the Seminole long before European settlers noticed that men who ate them seemed to fare better with age. The plant's active constituents are fat-soluble — free fatty acids and phytosterols concentrated in the berry's lipid fraction — which is why a liposterolic extract is the only preparation worth taking. A dry powder of the berry leaves them behind.

Prosauto combines that extract with pumpkin seed oil, itself rich in phytosterols and zinc, and with uva-ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi), the bearberry, a small alpine shrub with a long European history of use for the urinary tract.

The three are used together to support normal prostate size and function, healthy urinary flow, and the normal comfort of the lower urinary tract in aging men. Mechanistically, the saw palmetto and pumpkin sterols are studied for their role in supporting healthy androgen metabolism.

Expect it to work on a botanical timescale. Meaningful use is measured in weeks, not days.

Available in 60 softgels.

How to read this formulation.

The product page is a commerce record, not a research conclusion. Read the source and label first; keep the claim inside the evidence.

01

Source

Who made it, what form is present, and which details come from the label or manufacturer documentation?

02

Formulation

Ingredients, concentrations, preparation, directions, and format before any inference about effect.

03

Boundary

Foundation Labs does not extend a claim beyond the evidence or source material that can reasonably support it.
