Quercetin C

Quercetin and rutin are bioflavonoids — the pigments a plant makes to protect itself from ultraviolet light and oxidative damage. Quercetin is found in onion skin, capers, and apples; rutin in buckwheat and citrus. Both are notoriously badly absorbed.

That is the problem this formulation exists to solve. It is liposome-enhanced: the flavonoids are carried in phospholipid vesicles that substantially improve bioavailability, which means a lower dose can accomplish what would otherwise require a great deal more. Vitamin C is included because it works alongside quercetin and helps stabilize it.

Quercetin is used to support the body's normal histamine response, healthy inflammatory balance, and antioxidant defense — which is why people reach for it seasonally.
