Vitamin C Powder (from tapioca)

Most vitamin C in the world is made from corn. For a great many people that is entirely fine, and for a certain number of people it is the reason they cannot take vitamin C at all — what they are reacting to is not the ascorbic acid but the residue of what it was made from.

This one is derived from tapioca. It is a highly purified ascorbic acid, comparable to reagent grade, and it exists specifically for people with extreme food sensitivities who cannot tolerate less pure forms. That is a small population, and Ecological Formulas has been serving it since 1981.
